This year, three absolutely amazing and extremely talented children, Krisia, Hasan and Ibrahim, will represent Bulgaria at the prestigious Junior Eurovision contest held in Malta. Here you can hear their magical song “The Planet of the Children” and show your support by voting for them.
As part of a new series called Bulgaria and Its Neighbors, ~WithLoveFromBG~ will feature each one of Bulgaria’s neighboring countries in an effort to showcase the cultural, historical, and gastronomical wealth of the region and help you maximize your time there. We will offer advice and ideas that will spark your imagination and have you crafting your next adventure in no time. Without further ado, let’s travel to the Balkans! First up is Turkey!
The world is football (I can’t bring myself to call it soccer) and had Bulgaria qualified to play in Brazil, you would have been hearing all about it on here from me. Sadly, it didn’t, BUT that at all does not mean that the Bulgarian presence is missing from the championship. WHAT?! HOW?! The answer is in the video.
There is something super cool and quite exciting brewing in the Big Apple this summer and we are dying to tell you all about it! 🙂 The Midtown International Theatre Festival is coming to town and for the first time ever it is bringing along a small taste of the Bulgarian theater for the viewing pleasure of the guests and residents of this metropolis.
Lately I have found myself reflecting more and more on my childhood years. Perhaps this is caused by the fact that I am slowly but steadily creeping up to the “oh so scary 30!” or it could be the thought of wanting to have children soon, that keeps sending me back in time on quick and blissful revisits of my enchanted Bulgarian early days.
Have you ever felt so happy that you could just break out in a dance in the middle of the street? Well, a group of Sofians did just that in an effort to showcase how happy their city makes them and it looks like it was lots of fun. 🙂
